Technical Issue: Cannot change measurement units from Metric to Imperial Standard.

After clicking edit on the unit of measurement and choosing Imperial from the drop-down menu, then clicking update, the UI looks as if it will update but then stays the same.

Would love to not have to log out of my account to see the forecast in inches since I'm too lazy to convert it myself! Thanks :)

I don't know where you get your snow depth data. There is well over a meter of snow depth at the Base of Steamboat but you state about half of reality.

Hi, I just found this resort location is wrong by check the (Lat Long: 47.50° N 122.10° W)
    https://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/The-Summit-at-Snoqualmie/12day/mid

This is the correct one: https://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/Snoqualmie/12day/mid

Please consider remove the first one. It will confuse users.

    Thanks

In Washington State there is a duplicate listing for one resort with differing weather and elevation information. One listing is "The Summit at Snoqualmie" and one is listed as "Summit at Snoqualmie". One of these resort listings need to be removed and the information on the ratings and photos should be consolidated.

Just interested in why the forecast maps now show sea level pressure rather than freezing level.
The freezing level was great and very useful, the air pressure less so.
Is there an option to change this or view differently/
    Many thanks

Hi - Have been a subscriber for some time, I like the site a great deal and find it very useful. There is one thing that bugs me though. I ski in the French Alps and as most of the weather there comes from the Atlantic it would be useful to me to be able to replace the 'Eurasia' view with an 'Atlantic and Europe' view showing the Eastern seaboard of the US, the Atlantic and the Western half of Europe. Even better would be to pick a level of magnification and then drag and drop the map to get the view you want. Just a suggestion, keep up the great work. Thanks.

I've been sick, and haven't logged in for some time. I now find your site is un-usable on a Mac with either Safari or Chrome. It's ok with Window 10.
    Eventually, with Chrome, giving
    https://www.snow-forecast.com/maps/dynamic/nsw?type=snow&over=arrows&symbols=ski&highlight=Thredbo
as the URL, and working my way back to login, I got a normally styled screen, but Safari, not so.

Please can you shed some light on calling pen y fan a ski resort? It's nothing like one! Very odd.

I can't find anything on the website, but thought I'd check before doing so.

On your page about Nozawa Onsen http://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/Nozawa-Onsen, you have the nearest train station as Togarinozawaonsen. It's not, it's Iiyama.

Separately (and maybe this isn't fixable...), your forecasts of temperature and relative amounts of snowfall/precipitation are pretty good. But your algorithm consistently underestimates the absolute amount of snowfall in Nozawa Onsen by 20%-50%. This has consistently been the case since I started using your service 3 years ago. Otherwise, very helpful and useful service. Thank you.

    Please fix!

    Peter

Cypress Mountain has been reporting 0.3-1.1 degrees C on their web page for the past couple days. The forecast on snow-forecast.com has indicated 6-11 degrees over the same time period.

Why isn't the forecast updated when reported temperatures differ by so much? The forecast states min 10, max 11, and was issued today. Meanwhile at the mountain it's about 1 degree C. This has been the case for about 3 days and the discrepancy continues.

I don't expect forecasts to always be right, but I do expect them to be updated so that at least the current conditions are correct.

[note from the editor: thank you for getting in touch; you should enrol as an Eyeball Reporter so your 'live' weather observations can be seen on the relevant web pages: help@snow-forecast.com with a Twitter ID. Or click the "Is it snowing?" icon. Both methods are provided for the reason of supplying weather conditions at resorts.]

    Hi,
We moved from the UK to the US and my iPhone app has stopped working since the IOS 11 release. Does not appear that your app is available in the US Apple App store. Is there a reason why we can't get it here?
We have been a long time supporter and love your temperature snow forecasts as they are in amazing detail.
    Regards, Kathy Roll

Response from the editor: Hi Kathy, thank you for expressing your support. The updated app will be available very soon.

I have been using the snow-forecast for these couple of years and appreciate very useful and helpful forecast information for my ski planning, however I am afraid something wrong in the calculation for Japanese skiing area for these several weeks.
The forecast and the actual weather is completely different, that I have never experienced in the past forecast on snow-forecast.
Snow season in Japan will end soon, I hope it is fixed by the next season! Thanks.

    [note from the editor: thank you for expressing your concern regarding our forecasts for areas in Japan. Your comments have been noted.}

    Hi there,
I am quite happy with your forecasts even though sometimes they do overestimate precipitation as written below for Zermatt e.g. by another user. But regarding the different weather models and the tricky situation at the alpine main ridge (like Zermatt, Saas Fee) in southernly winds, I understand it's almost impossible to find the perfect solution. One more thing: Stuhleck (Austria) has its lowest point at 782 m and not at 1469 m as is said here (see http://www.seilbahntechnik.net/de/lifts/place/spital_am_semmering/index.htm).
Keep on rockin', best regards from Vienna - Stefan

[note from the editor: thank you for sending us your feedback; heights for Stuhleck have now been updated.]

Once again, we are here with family, and the snow is awesome There is now a larger tube park (fun for all) and a carpet ride for the bunny hill; no holding on just walk on. The snow is awesome. Even off the yellow chair you could find knee deep powder. A great family mountain with something for everyone. Staff are great. Little change but anticipating big things soon.

    Hi!
I just wanted to say briefly that the weather model you are using continuously (and heavily!) overestimates the expected snowfall for Zermatt in the Alps! Sometimes grotesque.
Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with your service!
    Best regards,
    Benjamin

[note from the editor: thank you for sending us your feedback. We shall do our best to investigate the discrepancy.]

Thank you for a very useful site that I've been using a lot the past three years.
I would like to report what must be a false snow depth indication for Swizerland, Veysonnaz. It says 140cm (top). Yesterday I went all over the area (over to Verbier and back) and wonder where they found 140cm snow depth. It was more like 40cm with lots of rocks "everywhere".
    Should be verified :-)
    Thanks!

[note from the editor: thank you for sending us your feedback regarding a snow depth report at Veysonnaz. We are currently trying to improve this service; open to users of the site. However, the following page reports 140cm at the top of part of the area. http://www.veysonnaz.com/fr/ski/installation-ski-televeysonnaz_0-333]

I would like to report a 'bug' regarding the positioning of 'Balea Lake' on the map. I believe this is the cause for wrong forecasts for this resort.
    The correct coordinates: 45.602153, 24.614610
