

September Snowfall & Snowmaking in Canada & USA
There’s been more snowfall and talk of snowmaking systems getting fired up early next week across western North America. Sunshine ski area near Banff (pictured top and below on September 28th), where the ski season is due to start in 6 weeks’ time on November 10th has had three or four snowfalls already in September, with the latest leaving the snow several inches deep. Elsewhere across the west there have been snowfalls on high slopes in Colorado, Utah, New Mexio,, Idaho, Oregon and Washington state among others, with California’s Sierras expecting snow next when rain falls at lower elevations.
